Help My House Energy Makeover Winner Announced

Eric and Melissa Drummond, of Woodruff, are the winners of a Help My House energy makeover courtesy of Blue Ridge, Broad River, Laurens and Little River electric cooperatives. Co-op officials made the surprise announcement at the home Monday afternoon.

Blue Ridge Fest raises $142,000 for local charities

One of the best parts of Blue Ridge Fest 2009 just happened the week of June 22nd. The money could not have come at a better time as most charities are struggling now more than ever.

Cooperative Tree Lighting is planned for November 24

On November 24, the lights on the tree in front of Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative will once again light the evening sky, heralding the Christmas season. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:15 p.m., with light refreshments to follow. Everyone is invited to enjoy this holiday tradition.

Blue Ridge Fest has another successful year
Blue Ridge Fest has become one of the largest fund-raising events in Upstate South Carolina. The twelfth annual Fest, held on May 15-16, proved to be successful.
